It can be difficult to get a table here but they have the best margaritas I've ever tasted. The 'Fire' stuffed jalapeños and the fried calamari are absolutely delicious as well. This is a great place for a few drinks with friends.

ive been only once, but i was genuinely impressed. had a stuffed pepper which was amazing. loved the Salsa. biggest problem is its too damn busy! so crowded and loud which is why i wont be back. felt like a prison holding pen.

I went here on a Saturday night and was very pleased with the staff, drinks, and food! I had a wonderful time out and about. The staff was cordial and on top of our drinks. We got some loaded nachos that were amazing!! Then I ordered a burrito to take home and when I went to open take away box the next day I was blown away at how beautiful the burrito was!! It was gorgeously nestled between a dab of bright green guacamole and on the other side was this delicious bright pink and purple salad. It looked like a butterfly with tiny wings! Love this restaurant! Drinks were out of this world as well! Definitely try the margaritas! You won't be disappointed!

The food was fantastic, it has a great vibe and the service - thank you Nicole - was excellent. Try the Chicken Asparagus Enchilada and the Fire app. You won’t be disappointed.

Authentic mexican food restaurant with an original maragita selection. Outdoor tables are also available during the summer. Great option for late dinner as most other restaurants in the area close at 9PM.

My favorite place for margaritas! This business has been a local staple for years and for good reason. Delicious food and unique fare for the area. Great downtown location with seasonal outdoor seating. Homemade chips and salsa make for a great snack with drinks or a start to a meal. My favorite margarita is the Rolls Royce made with premium ingredients. They also have tasty flavored margaritas like mango, pomegranate, and even lavender. All margaritas are made with their own house sour mix, so good, and a detail that their competitors skip over. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items... play it "safe" with familiar chimichangas or go for something more bold, you won't regret your choice either way.

Everyone I know absolutely loves the place. To me its decent but I much prefer other local restaurants. We waited 30 minutes to be seated they have been a successful restaurant for over 10 years it's time to expand. Overall decent food and pricing.

The Pepper is always somewhere to return to in Plattsburgh. The best authentic Mexican food I have ever and probably will ever have. I anticipate every visit with anxiety and excitement. There's no shame in re ordering the same dish everytime here. Addictively good and well worth every penny. Conserve water, drink margaritas.Edit: The wait staff is very forgiving to clumsy guests.

Nice place. Very friendly staff & servers. Chili relleno was tasty but a bit spicier than expected. Steak fajita salad was amazing with a ton of steak. Left very full & satisfied.

Really nice place. Had the escabeche fish taco. Flavors from the pickled beets and cabbage complemented the taste of the fried fish all wrapped up in a taco. Heavy curry flavor from the fried beans and rice. Spicy.

Great Margaritas!!! Super vibe!!! Indoor/outside seating - I chose the bar. Finished my Margaritas (Cadillacs), but took home a doggy bag of food!!!

Oh mama! I really love The Pepper, have only been once, but you will find delightful food, for a very decent price. Their margaritas are delicious and made properly: with two alcohols including one tequila.Good vegetarian options!If you find yourself in this nice part of Plattsburgh, I really recommend The Pepper!

Lunch on a Saturday, had to keep changing our order because they seemed to be out of everything, out of shrimp, no guacamole, etc. We order finally, whoops no corn tortillas. Maybe nice to know this stuff sitting down, instead of after we order drinks and are committed.Would be a 1 star review but when we finally got our food situated, it did end up being really good. Margaritas were quite good also.

When we arrived there were only 2 other tables being served and it still took our server more than 20 minutes before she even took our drink order and gave us menus. The service was slow and the rice was undercooked and dry. It would have been good if cooked properly. I was disappointed that the taco shells weren't freshly made but were premade from a box. The guacamole was fresh and I did enjoy the the pickled red cabbage that came with it. When it came to receiving the check it was another long wait. In spite of everything our entrees did have good flavor. I would probably go back and try something else

So tasty, so yummy!We had the chimichanga and the portion was big, we were starving so it worked perfectly for us! The staff was super nice as well.

My wife and I had a great late night dinner here. The food was amazing. The margaritas were fantastic. The price was right and the atmosphere was inviting and festive, but not overwhelming. Our server, Brooke with a W, was amazing. She was friendly and personable, yet very fast and efficient. The hostess, the owner's mother we found out, was friendly and funny and very attentive. (She reminded us a bit of Betty White.) We could not recommend this place enough. We're glad I got a craving for mexican food. Can't wait to return to Plattsburgh so we can go again.

This Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem.Service is welcoming, menu has many delicious authentic dishes. My lunch was enough for two, that made lunch the next day a welcome treat. They also have a colorful bar, Margaritas anyone? Am I going back? Absolutely.

The black bean soup and shredded beef tacos with their wonderful rice are my favorites! The fajita salad with local greens is also amazing! Margaritas are always a good choice too. Cierra and Brooke are the best!

Everything was great about this place. You have to go a little off the beaten path, but it is well worth it. The salsa was very fresh, with lots of fresh cilantro. We ordered the guacamole appetizer and it was just made and there was a lot of it. We also ordered entrees and had enough take homes for another meal and a half!!!

Always room for improvement, but the Margaritas are infamous, food is generous and good. Chelsea is a great,friendly, and very efficient waitress.

It was a long wait, but it was worth it. The artichoke dip was the best I’ve ever eaten. The Carnitas were totally delicious too. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
